YOU were made on purpose for a purpose

At CUSTOM MATH TUTORING, the mission is to destroy the myth that “some people just aren’t good at math.” That’s a lie — and it’s been holding too many brilliant minds back for far too long. I believe every person has the ability to think deeply, solve creatively, and grow confidently in math and beyond. Our goal is to help students not only master math, but also rediscover who they are — capable, intelligent, and full of potential. Because when you stop believing the lie, you start becoming everything you’re meant to be.

What is my story

A little about me, I am a wife and mom of 4. I am also a passionate math educator and U.S. Army veteran who believes every student has what it takes to succeed.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a Master’s degree in Math Education, and I’m a credentialed teacher in Washington State for both Middle Level Mathematics and Mathematics. Over the years, I’ve taught middle and high school students in both public and private schools, helping them move from frustration to confidence and from doubt to discovery.

My passion is working one-on-one or in small groups with students to help them see that they can do hard things — like math. I know that with the right support, mindset, and encouragement, every student can unlock their potential and become confident not just in math, but in themselves.

Because at the end of the day, it’s about more than math — it’s about believing that you were made on purpose for a purpose.
